Review: Congolese from Canna-Connoisseurs on 17 Church St. Hands down one of the best sativas I’ve ever tried, with unique and stimulating medicinal effects. Judging from the flower in the picture, you wouldn’t think this strain has won several awards, but it has. The smell right out of the bag is extremely aromatic. Hints of pine, rotting citrus and spiciness are exhibited, quite the complex terpene profile. The smell lingers and travels across the room as you break it up, the resin production on the flower is very good for a sativa too. Sticky flower, yet dry and breaks up to a very large amount. The flavour is very tasty, and carries those sour citrus notes well. The smoke is powerful, smokes heavy unlike most sativas I’ve tried. The high creeps up on you, and hits you like a cup of fresh espresso. A very uplifting, clean high that doesn’t leave you spaced out at all. Your mind will be rushing with creative thoughts, and a permanent smile will be fixed on your head. There is no couchlock feeling, and this strain did not make me tired at all. The feeling that Congolese gave me was unlike any other strain, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try something different. I plan to always keep a bit of this strain around for when I need it. Hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend!
